In your role, you will be working with our Beauty and Cosmetics Category team looking after our major UK retailer Asda , working closely with well-known beauty brands, just to name a few Loreal, Rimmel, Eyelure and many more. We use our bespoke technology to make sure that we're crunching the numbers in a way that gives us useful insights into product lines, it's not a one-size-fits-all industry, so we shouldn't be treating every brand in the same way. As an Analyst you will ensure that Brands and Retailers are getting the most out of their shelf positions whether it is promotion, new range review or a seasonal activity, in summary ensuring correct stock levels are in the right place at the right time. Purpose of the role: Working with customers to maximise sales and build value while building relationships through delivering analytics, insight and continuing to support the needs of the customer Understand customer requirements, offering advice and solutions to meet best practice expectations Liaise directly with suppliers and brands on a regular basis over requirements to collaborate forecasts Ability to understand complex data insights and interpret to the wider business Work with retailers, supply teams to provide insight and actionable data to maximise sales and availability Provide accurate, insightful data to improve inbound and outbound availability and drive sales. Working in a collaborative style with the Account Manager's to provide insight and actionable data for our key retailers. Skills & Experience Required: A Data focussed professional with an analytical mind-set, quick to grasp the fundamentals of the business and have strong communication skills Experienced working within a fast-paced environment with conflicting priorities Ability to work autonomously, initiate and deliver change; have a proactive and creative approach to problem solving A great communicator at all levels Excel knowledge Experience and knowledge of Power BI.
