AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION from AugustaDog Adoptions! Lucy, Ricky and Ethel are 10 week old doxy puppies who currently weigh around 4 pounds but will grow, of course. They owner of their parents did not get them fixed in time so.....their mother and father are siblings, making these puppies inbred! We have not noticed any birth defects or health issues but cannot guarantee that nothing will arrise in the future. They have been raised in a loving foster home and have been well socialized. Dachshunds live long lives and often need good vet care as the age. They are looking for stable families who are willing to provide for them financially for at least the next 15 years! Applicants with breed experience, other dogs and fenced yards preferred! And an excellent vet reference is REQUIRED! WE DO NOT OFFER TRANSPORATION! The black one is a boy and the brown ones are girls. (This is one listing for three individual puppies.) Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. We also have reduced or waived adoption fees for many seniors, dogs with speciall medical or behavioral needs and other "slow to adopt" dogs. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
