Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Surgical ICU Stepdown Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Planet Healthcare is looking for a RN - Stepdown - Menino 3 Surgical IMCU in Boston, MA area. Shift: D/N Rotating 36 Hrs, per week Job Description & Requirements: 36hr, DN, EOW, EOH Required Exp: 2+ years recent acute care experience, IMCU/Stepdown experience, auto med dispensing and more than 1 previous travel assignment. Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips. Tele test and CC Med test on day 1. Preferred Exp: Surgical Stepdown Tertiary facility experience. Unit sees post-operative patients requiring intermediate care transferred from PACU or SICU and incudes cardithoracic surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, trauma, and transplant patients. 38 beds with an average patient ratio of 1:3, 1:4 or 1:4-5 if Med Surg floor patients. · Assignment Length: 13 weeks · Start Date: ASAP Pending compliance · Employment Type: Contract · 2+ Years of experience required within specialty (if applicable)· Active State/Compact RN license, BLS & ACLS?
