AM Home Delivery is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Dispatcher to join our team. As a Transportation Dispatcher you will play a crucial role in our fleet and terminal operations, you will work closely with the routing manager ensuring efficient best in class deliveries and customer satisfaction. If you have a strong background in transportation and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. ***Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred. Responsibilities Manage inbound / outbound communication, such as phone calls and e-mails to include company driver’s and assigned contractors issues and customer deliveries.. Monitor routes and resolve any transportation issues that arise such as delays, delivery issues and customer complaints providing timely and effective solutions. Manage all required paperwork and records and prepares documentation (forms, KPI reports, etc.) as needed. Administrative support to routing managers and assigned terminal operations. Assist safety and compliance team and communicate with drivers obtaining updated DOT documents as needed. Create invoice charges for pick up orders. Manage COI request and submissions for final mile deliveries. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bilingual (Spanish) High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred. Microsoft Office Skills, with expertise in Excel. One year of relevant experience Preferred. Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor. Highly professional and dependable. Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress. Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent telephone skills. Strong computer and internet skills..
