*** COURTESY POST *** "Pauly" is acting depressed with the new puppy in household situation and needs a new home. "Pauly is a loving, loyal and caring adult dog. He is 6.5 years old. He is as sweet as can be, a wonderful walker (doesn’t tug or pull), and is always by our side. Pauly's owners have taken him on long walks in the park, and he has always been a fun companion. He loves humans, young and old and is very kissy. A 'go-to' maneuver of Pauly's is to offer his belly to someone new he meets. Pauly has become depressed after the arrival of a male puppy into the home. He has gotten along great and played with the older female dog, but the stress of the puppy is changing that former canine companionship. Pauly is not a fan of cats and stares obsessively at them. He would do best as the only pet in the house, and with his gentle, sweet demeanor, would be an ideal companion for older pet parents. Pauly has had terrific health care and is current on all his vaccines. He has been on tick/flea and heart guard treatments. We are hoping to re home Pauly to a loving family who can appreciate his companionship and also be open to getting the love he can offer. We hate to part with him, but we know he would bounce out of this depression and be happier."
