Seeking a Diesel Technician with experience repairing and servicing coach bus, motorcoach, or parlor coach buses for a direct employment opportunity with our client in Glenelg, MD.This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental and 401k! Compensation ranges from $30.00 to $37.00 per hour based on experience.In this position, your responsibilities will involve inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel-powered vehicles. Key duties include conducting diagnostic tests on vehicles, replacing engine, transmission, steering mechanism, or braking system components, and test-driving vehicles to ensure successful resolution of maintenance issues.Responsibilities: Consult with customers, read work orders, and determine required tasks. Plan work procedures, referencing technical charts and manuals. Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other vehicle parts. Follow checklists to ensure thorough examination of all critical components. Interpret diagnostic test results to identify mechanical issues accurately. Repair or replace malfunctioning components, parts, and other mechanical or electrical equipment. Perform basic care and maintenance tasks, such as changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires. Conduct test drives to verify smooth vehicle operation.
