Are you a Paralegal interested in working for a Trust, Estates, and Special Needs law firm, and who is eager to advance in a law firm? Are you detail-oriented, organized, collaborative, and enthusiastic about learning? If so, you could be the ideal Junior Paralegal for our team! This position offers growth opportunities and a supportive work environment, for the right person looking for a long-term career. Please note that this is a full-time, in-office position. Responsibilities:• Assist with estate planning, trust administration, probate, and conservatorship cases• Prepare court hearing and clint files, initial drafts of pleadings, and other court documents• Communicate with clients, courts, financial advisors, trustees, law firms, and other personnel• File documents with the Court, mail-serving documents, and scheduling court appearances• Assist with client meetings, including Estate Planning signing meetings• Maintain and monitor case progress, deadlines, and important timeframes/milestones• Document information in the law firm’s practice management system• Support the office with answering phones, special projects, and general administrative duties, as needed Qualifications:• Minimum of 6 months of experience working in a law firm• Paralegal Certification or qualify as a paralegal under California Business & Professions Code §6450• Set priorities, manage your own workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment• Excellent communicator and organized with exceptional attention to detail• Computer savvy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (knowledge of Actionstep is a plus!)• Reliable commute or will relocate prior to starting position Compensation: $22 - $27 hourly, DOE About Company: We are a growing Trust, Estates, and Special Needs law firm based in Newport Beach, CA.
