This large, experienced workforce enables Blythe Development to self-perform 80% of site groundwork, which gives them greater control than competitors who must subcontract the bulk of the job.This position is located in Charleston, SC.Night work will be required for this position. General Description The foreman supervises field operations of a grading crew. They will also engage in the trade work performed by the crew. Key Duties - Knowledgeable in the areas of excavation and grading- Directly supervisors grading crew, reporting to Superintendent- Operates and supervises the operation of heavy equipment on project sites- Reads, understands, and interprets drawings and specifications- Provides reports on time and materials- Ensure all safety precautions and quality standards are met- Use of heavy equipment and supervision of the use of heavy equipment- Flexibility with schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changes. Night work will be required for this position.
