Summary Job Summary We are looking for an energetic Infant/Waddler Teacher to join our Junior Academy team! You will be managing the classroom with planning and implementing both whole classroom and small group instruction. You are passionate about learning and love working with children. With strong creative, organizational skills and leadership skills, you are able to connect with individual students and develop strong relationships with faculty to create an engaging learning environment. Duties Provide a safe and nurturing environment for infants to grow and learn Attend to the physical and emotional needs of infants, including feeding, diapering, and comforting Observe and document developmental progress of infants and communicate with parents/guardians regularly Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of care and education Maintain a clean and organized classroom Follow all state and federal regulations regarding infant care and education Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in infant care and education Requirements Associates degree or credits toward early childhood education Ability to pass a state and federal background check A year of previous experience caring for infants preferred High-energy with a love of working with children Organized and detail-oriented Benefits Benefits for FULL TIME, YEAR ROUND Employees Paid time off after 90 days, Time increases with seniority Paid Holidays after 90 days Paid Professional development assistance 401K Plan with company match 50% OFF Childcare upon employment Growth within company
