The ideal candidate will have a solid background in advising clients on tax issues related to partnerships/LLCs, corporations, business structuring, mergers and acquisitions, real property investments, and business succession planning.Duties:Advise clients on federal, state, and local business tax issues about partnerships/LLCs and corporations.Assist clients with business structuring and formation, including choice of entity considerations.Guide mergers and acquisitions from a tax perspective.Offer expertise on tax implications of investments in real property.Develop strategies for business succession planning to minimize tax liabilities.Requirements:Minimum 3 years of experience advising clients on federal, state, and local business tax issues.Experience in business structuring, mergers and acquisitions, real property investments, and business succession planning.JD from an accredited law school.LL.M. degree in tax is a plus.Active membership in the New York Bar in good standing.Excellent analytical and communication skills.Ability to multitask and work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.LL.M. degree in tax (preferred).Skills:Proficiency in federal, state, and local business tax laws.Strong analytical skills to assess complex tax issues.Excellent communication skills to effectively convey tax strategies to clients.Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.A detail-oriented approach is needed to ensure accuracy in tax planning and documentation.Benefits: The firm offers competitive salaries along with a comprehensive benefits package, including:Medical and dental insurance.Group term life insurance.Accidental death and dismemberment insurance.Long-term disability insurance.Optional term life insurance.Flexible spending accounts.Aflac.401(k) retirement plan.Paid time off.Referral bonuses.Paid holidays.
