COURTESY POSTZeke is the goofiest dog and loves to cuddle up next to anyone he meets. He has a left front leg/shoulder deformation from an injury when he was a puppy. We believe he was hit by a car or received blunt force trauma. Zeke takes daily pain medication that helps him tremendously and he does great running around with no issues. A home without younger children will be preferred to prevent rough housing which may cause Zeke pain.April 16, 2024, 10:26 amAdoption processWe are all volunteers and have busy lives. Please allow 2-3 business days for a reply to your inquiry. FAILURE TO FILL OUT THE APPLICATION COMPLETELY AND ACCURATELY WILL DELAY PROCESSING. The adoption is NOT FINAL until the animal is spayed/neutered. A refundable deposit of $100.00 for dogs ($50 for cats) will be collected at time of adoption and returned when the pet has been spayed or neutered. The adoption fee covers the spay/neuter surgery, core vaccinations, including rabies, and a microchip.Shelter locationAll of our animals are in foster homes. Please complete an adoption application, which can be found at www.ASVTexas.org. The application will be reviewed and if approved, we will forward it to the foster family and ask them to contact you to set up a meet and greet. Our animals do attend adoption events on weekends.
