NILP is a rapidly growing, human service agency who assists persons with all types of disabilities who wish to live independently in their community throughout Northeast Massachusetts. NILP provides five core services of Advocacy, Peer Counseling, Information and Referral, Independent Living Skills Training, and Transition. NILP believes in consumer control and self-direction and provides these services with the knowledge that persons with disabilities are the best determinants of their needs and goals. Position Overview : The PCA Clinical Admin is responsible for providing administrative and data entry support to assist the day-to-day clinical team activities. We are seeking applicants who are passionate about helping others and willingness to show a commitment to Independent Living philosophy. What you will be doing: Data entry into data management programs and Excel Collaborate with other team members to help process consumer's paperwork Track the status of evaluations Print out consumer profiles, re-evaluations, and prior authorizations for nurses Fax releases to Home Health Agencies Obtain medical provider's authorization of PCA services Who we are looking for? High school graduate or equivalent with a minimum of two years administrative experience Knowledge of IL philosophy and previous experience working with people with disabilities preferred Must have access to reliable transportation Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and comfort working with database management programs The Northeast Independent Living Program, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and encourages persons with disabilities, women, veterans, members of the LGBTQ+ community and persons of color to apply for this position.
