- -Full and Part-time positions available! -We are currently looking to add certified Child/Adolescent Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to our Reading and Wyomissing locations of Berkshire Psychiatric & Behavioral Health Services. -M-F scheduled, no weekends! Berkshire Psychiatric & Behavioral Health Services is now proud -to be part of the Haven Behavioral Healthcare system of services. - Haven operates acute-care psychiatric hospitals and outpatient practices across the United States that offer a full continuum of care for anyone dealing with mental health and substance abuse issues, from young adults to seniors. - At Berkshire Psychiatric & Behavioral Health Services, we work with children, adolescents, adults and seniors. Our services include consultation, evaluation, testing, counseling and medication management in a convenient out-patient setting. These services include treatment for a wide range of mental and behavioral health diagnoses, addictions, marital and family issues and symptoms prompted by stress and/or life transitions. -Our mission is to treat every patient with the compassion and respect that we would treat our own families and to provide the kind of behavioral healthcare that patients recommend to their families and friends and referring physicians prefer for their patients.POSITION SUMMARY - -As a Nurse Practitioner -in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) you will have a collaborative agreement with the Medical Director and work closely to ensure that the psychiatric and medical services provided to our patients are consistently adherent to the standards of the company/agency and applicable regulatory entities.EDUCATION: -Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program, Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) required. -Child/Adolescent Psychiatric-Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist Certification (PMHCNS-BC)EXPERIENCE: - -At least three (3) to five (5) years experience working as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with mental health population, outpatient preferred. -Our employees enjoy: -A strong company culture - We hold ourselves to the highest ethical standards, focus 100% on optimizing patient outcomes and emphasize our core values: excellence, passion, respect and stewardship.An enjoyable work environment - You'll experience a family-like atmosphere, strong teamwork and leader accessibility.
