Your work: You will work with prospective or existing customers to evaluate insurance needs, and deepen the relationship, using a consultative approach to sell a full portfolio of products and coverages that meet a customer's needs. You will work directly with prospective and existing customers via inbound and outbound calling, chat and via the web to ensure that each experience with us is simple, positive and personal. Training includes new employee orientation, instructor led (virtual) classroom training and on-the-job-training. Our operational hours are 7 days a week spanning from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. PST. You should be available to work 40 hours a week within the operational hours with the possibility of a weekend schedule to include Saturday's or Sunday's up until 9:00 p.m. Training starts on Monday, 2/12. Required Experience, Education and Skills High School (HS)/GED or 2 years sales experience in a virtual environment leveraging internet, phone and chat features. Active Property & Casualty (P&C) or Personal Lines license. Minimum of one year prior sales and/or customer service experience in personal lines and/or commercial lines insurance. Expert consultative skills to effectively assess needs. Understanding of and the ability to effectively apply cross-selling techniques. Familiarity with or ability to learn CSAA Insurance Group website information and self-service capability features and functionality. Expert working knowledge of or ability to learn all insurance products, including AAA Membership products and services. Comprehension of and ability to apply underwriting and state-specific regulatory guidelines for the multiple products serviced. What would make us excited about you? However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on county of residence. The full hourly rate range for this position across all the states we hire in is $22.80 - $30.33.This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 3% of eligible pay.In addition, we offer an Incentive and Recognition plan which is an additional earning opportunity from a production incentive plan.If you apply and are selected to continue in the recruiting process, we will schedule a preliminary call with you to discuss the role and will disclose during that call the available salary/hourly rate range based on your location.
