As a shop Aid, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers. What you'll be doing: Receive drug orders from medical companies and re-stock dispensary supplies (bottles, capsule vials, etc), ensuring appropriate storage of products Check and restock shelves with medications Recycle serviceable medication into active stock Perform audits of unit dose prepacked medications and multidose packaged medications, rotating stock to ensure best dating Help shop technicians with performing audits in shop and on patient care units Help shop porter and shop technicians with medication deliveries Support department administration with filing, scanning, shredding, etc. Sanitize dispensary counter tops and trays What we're looking for: Actively enrolled in Bachelor of Science program Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated problem solving, attention to detail and conflict management skills Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Power Point Strong organizational and multitasking skills Proven ability to work effectively independently and with a team Previous experience in a mental health facility is an asset but not required As part of our commitment to the health and safety of our patients, staff and community from COVID-19, subject to any accommodation required by applicable human rights legislation, Homewood Health Centre requires that all staff have received all required doses of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by Health Canada.
