Company: Centralized Services/NUZA Logistics Industry: Dietary Supplements, Botanical Products Manufacturing Title: QA/QC Technician Location: Marietta, GA Reports to: QA/QC Manager and Operations Manager Compensation: $20 to $22 Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PMFlexible one-hour lunch break between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM, adjusted based on workflow.Enjoy access to a coffee maker and more to make your day smoother + team lunch on a monthly basis. Position Summary The QA/QC Tech will be responsible for sample collection of plant leaf powders for laboratoryanalysis. Samples are to be collected under the supervision of the QA/QC manager and shippedout to our third-party lab via UPS. Tasks will include making sticker labels, labeling of conicaltubes with batch numbers, collecting 1000 samples per week, and shipping of samples. Primary Responsibilities Ability to maintain a sterile work environment. Highly organized. Ability/willingness to operate a forklift (Training will be provided if applicant doesn’thave experience). A basic understanding of chemistry and biology (desired). Ability to lift 60 pounds. Computer competency (intermediate). Ability to stand for up to 6 hours and sit up to 3 hours. Ability to safely use a box cutter. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures. Education and Requirements Educational Background: An Associate degree or higher in a STEM field is desirable but not mandatory. Previous experience in Quality Control (QC)-1 to 2 years of experience. This position is entry-level, with comprehensive training provided to equip you with the necessary skills.
