And our Village family now has an opportunity in our Credit Department for a full time Credit Support Specialist. This person a cts as liaison between Commercial Relationship Managers, Credit Analysts and Vendors to obtain and verify required documents. Essential Functions Manage Annual Review, Covenants and Criticized reports ensuring the department has the necessary information to complete financial reviews per loan policy. Identifying missing, outdated, or incomplete financial information prior to credit analysis. Communicate with client(s) to collect updated financial statements. Administer the ordering and reviewing of commercial appraisals through 3rd party vendor. Ensures policy/procedure followed with process and review. Village Bank Credit Administration Liaison between Relationship Managers and Appraisal Venders. Communicates effectively to appraisers, vendors, internal and external clients to ensure required documentation is provided/requested on a timely basis. Monitors bank owned properties and order appraisals greater than 12 months to ensure bank is within appraisal compliance. Providing administrative support/reports to Loan Officers and Sr. Management. Order Equifax Credit Reports as requested per policy. Conduct supply orders for the department. Process vendor and appraiser billing invoices for payment. Scan documents to bank imaging system. Voluntarily participates in community events and service on behalf of the company. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Competencies High School or equivalent diploma; college degree preferred. 2+ years of experience with tax returns, profit and loss/balance sheet statements, personal financial statements; experience with commercial or consumer lending a plus. Minimum age of at least 18 years. Ability to pass a background and credit check per company policies, unless prohibited by federal, state or local law. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other industry applications. Ability to adhere to and enforce all Village Bank practices, policies and procedures and complete any required training. Ability to work scheduled overtime when business need arises. Ability to multi-task requiring little oversite by senior management. Excellent verbal, written and negotiation skills with strong attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills to establish and maintain effective professional relationships with internal staff and company customers and vendors.
