A design engineer will consult directly with customers to provide a product that meets their needs. One will work directly with the manufacturing and engineering teams to develop new designs and continuously improve Gar-Bro's standard product line. Daily tasks may include improving manufacturing processes, drafting preliminary designs and production prints using computer-aided design, general sales, and new product engineering. Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, product design, or relevant field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Accurate and strong attention to detail. Proficient in MS Office and popular design software (AutoCad and Inventor). Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. www.garbro.com
