We are currently seeking a dedicated Locum Tenens StrokeNeurologist to provide coverage in Greenville, NC. The ideal candidate willhave experience in stroke neurology or treating stroke patients, althoughfellowship training is not required. This position will involve providinginpatient consults at a prestigious 974-bed level 1 trauma center. Greenville is a vibrantcity located in the eastern part of North Carolina. It serves as the countyseat of Pitt County and is known for its thriving economy, diverse culture, andstrong sense of community. Hospital Information: · 974-bed level 1 trauma center. · The hospital has a 24-bed NeurosciencesIntensive Care Unit (NSICU). · Annualizing approximately 1200 code strokes ayear Requirements: · Board Certification in Neurology. · Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationrequired from the American Heart Association (AHA). · Ability to provide inpatient consults only;no admissions required. · Availability for 7 consecutive shifts at atime. · Experience in vascular neurology or treatingstroke patients preferred but not required.
