We remain committed to our goal of Creating Life Without Limits for People With Disabilities!WALK IN INTERVIEWS AT OUR MAIN OFFICE EVERY TUESDAY AND THURSDAY FROM 9:00 AM TO 1:00 PMUCP Main Office250 Marcus BlvdHauppauge, New York 11788COOK Provide nutritious meals, box lunches and snacks in regulation with the special dietary needs of the individuals Prepare meals, box lunches, special diets and snacks Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen, to include appliances, counters and shelving in accordance with State regulations Follow safe food handling instructions, suing gloves; frequent hand washing Receive, store and date all merchandise Comply with menus approved by dietitian Maintain a cooperative working relationship with residential staff Demonstrate concern and respect for individual's rights and personal preferences Comply with all ICF/DD regulations regarding nutrition and menu planning In con junction with the Food Service Supervisor place orders for food and supplies Perform all other duties as directed by the Food Service Supervisor Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) One to three months related experience and/or trainingUCP of Long Island is an equal opportunity employerJob Type: full-timeEducation: High school or equivalent (Required) Work Location: One location Benefits: Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Retirement plan
