Sales associates are responsible for providing exceptional service to all customers and increasing store sales. They achieve success by maintaining a proficient knowledge of all products and retail items, as well as constantly striving for complete customer satisfaction. Primary Responsibilities Upholds the foundational behaviors in line with a retail/customer service positiono Arrives on time and in dress code each dayo Maintains accurate timekeeping recordso Completes assigned duties within scheduled shifto Clearly communicates scheduling needs to managero Is willing to help outside of regular schedules when possibleo Treats others with respect Maintains Customer Focuso Smiles and keeps a positive attitudeo Greets all customers upon entry to the storeo Invites customers to join the cake club and clearly explains the benefitso Verifies accuracy of all orders before they leave the storeo Resolves customer issues quickly and delivers a solution to make customers happy Focuses on attention to detailo Completes assigned opening and closing duties dailyo Maintains a clean and inviting store environmento Accurately completes all required financial management tools including cash logs and depositrecordso Rings and scans all orders with 100% accuracy Keeps Fresh Product and Reduces Wasteo Follows all FIFO guidelines for rotating product, including use of day dots on all productso Follows all standards for slicing and presentationo Informs all customers of best practices once products leave the storeo Looks for new opportunities to control unnecessary waste Engages in Company Advancemento Is knowledgeable about all POC productso Asks questions if something is unclear and seeks out opportunities to learno Provides meaningful feedback to manager and suggestions for improvemento Assists in training and development of newer staff members Increases store revenueo Asks questions of customers and suggest additional retail items when appropriateo Maintains fully stocked and organized retail areao Maintains fresh supply of samples in the store at all times
