We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Integration Engineer - Gateway C&T System to join our team with Teammate company, Nexus Solutions. As a Systems Integration Engineer - Gateway C&T System, you will: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the Communications and Tracking Sub-Systems of the Gateway Level 2 SubSystems Assess design compliance of the Gateway Level 2 requirements to commercial providers Maintain and update Gateway Level 2 requirements including Verification Requirements and Interface Requirements Documents Track and maintain requirement documents on task schedule Support the Gateway verification activities including verification objectives and procedures, end to end testing development and reviewing Verification Completion Notices (VCNs) Develop and support sub-project requirement and verification data packages to support architecture requirements, design, verification/validation, operations, and sustaining engineering Conduct product life cycle reviews, coordinate integration, verification and validation activities Review verification and validation reports to verify compliance with requirements Participate and contribute to system requirements reviews, preliminary design reviews and critical design reviews Perform and review system level architecture trade studies and analyses that will influence the overall electrical design and performance Must have good communication and organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment Perform other duties as required Qualifications External Requisition Qualifications: This position has been posted at multiple levels. Requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering in the field or in a related area. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in engineering or systems engineering Knowledge and understanding of SE&I processes, methodologies, tools and technologies including model-based systems engineering Knowledge of test principles, tools, and processes needed to develop test requirements Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the space hardware field, such as mechanical and electrical system design, engineering drawings and sketches, and material selection.
