Practice Area: Immigration - General, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 1 Years, A law firm in Dallas, TX, is seeking an Immigration Attorney - EOIR to join their team. Reporting to the Senior Associate Attorney, the candidate will manage their caseload, providing legal representation to non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals. Strong interpersonal skills and experience with various immigration applications are required. Duties:Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions to clients.Represent non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals.Manage workload of cases, including preparing diverse immigration applications and legal briefs.Conduct intake interviews with detained individuals at centers.Review immigration applications/packets and make necessary adjustments.Collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community-based organizations on changes in immigration law.Meet with potential clients for strategic immigration consultations and determine necessary strategy.Prepare clients and witnesses for court and USCIS testimony.Provide legal analysis to clients to determine possible case benefits.Present to and work with various agencies on immigration matters.Preferably bilingual (Spanish).Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, EOIR, Detained, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications.Experience with Case Management Software is preferred. Requirements:Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.1-5 years of Immigration Law Experience.Strong interpersonal skills.Experience with various immigration applications and removal defense.Bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred.
