Dory is looking forward to the good life with a loving family. She is shy and gentle and didn't deserve to be abandoned at a shelter. She will enjoy being in a home and with plenty of food since she only weighs 39 pounds. She is eager to go for walks, walks well on a leash, and likes to explore. She knows the sit command and may know something about house training because she seems to know to do her business outside. She is cooperative and easy to handle. She enjoys sitting on a lap and being petted. She gives free kisses and is very affectionate. She is jumpy when she wants to be close. We haven't seen her interact with children or other dogs but she is interested in her shelter neighbors. Please offer sweet Dory the home and family she deserves.
