Role: Civil Engineer-Practice Leader (PE) Industry: Engineering Location: Murfreesboro, TN Remote or Hybrid Options: not at this time Salary Range: $135,000 - $155,000 Relocation: Possibly Type: Full-Time?Exempt/Benefits Overview: The Practice Leader will oversee the project design, client communication, permitting, and management on a wide range of commercial and residential development projects. This position will be responsible for expanding the civil practice and collaborating in-house with other civil engineers, landscape architects, and land surveyors to assist our clients in developing public and private projects. Requirements: 10+ years of proven experience in site design 5+ years of previous employee management experience Active PE license (preferably in TN) Self-motivated, team-oriented individual Strong communication skills AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency Key Responsibilities: Lead business development efforts to expand practice locally Oversee day-to-day operations of the department, including the design of land development projects and managing office staff Develop and maintain client relationships Manage clients and the internal team to ensure all project goals and deadlines are met Supervise project lifecycles from conception to completion Coordinate business development with other internal departments and offices Create and adhere to budgets, projections and forecasting Serve as subject matter expert in site design Benefits: 100% covered health, dental and vision insurance, group term life insurance, identity theft protection, long-term and short-term disability coverage, telemedicine, and long-term care insurance Generous PTO, paid holidays, and three additional paid days between Christmas and New Year's Day Profit sharing bonus & 401(k) contribution Compensatory time paid out as PTO or additional pay if over 40 hours worked in a week If you meet the above requirements and feel confident in your ability to perform these tasks, please apply online or submit your resume to XXXX@ascendrecruitingpartners.com
