Our client is seeking a Corporate Food Safety Specialist to join their team. If you are passionate about ensuring the safety and quality of food products and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities:Oversee proper Quality and Food Safety documentationReview supplier and vendor approval processRecommend actions plans for improving food safety compliance Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement food safety policies and procedures.Monitor and assess compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Design, implement, and maintain documentation systems and records required for regulatory compliance.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree is preferred but additional experience will be considered in lieu ofMinimum of 2 years of experience in food safety / quality compliance in food manufacturing, distribution or food packaging Knowledge of food safety regulations (FDA, USDA, etc.)Prefer knowledge of GFSI, PCQI and HACCPGreat opportunity to work behind the scenes in a nice office environment. Hybrid work is possible after training, etc.
