Job Profile: Lions Housing Centres Inc. is recruiting for a permanent full-time day Resident Care Manager (RCM) position. This position is responsible for the overall leadership and management of a unit in a long-term facility, while also being a key player in the organization's quality improvement initiatives. In collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, the day RCM strives to ensure the highest quality of resident care. Some Responsibilities: Ensures use of the nursing process backssment, planning, implementation and evaluation) to deliver safe, quality care. Directs, plans and coordinates delivery of resident care with members of the health care team to ensure continuity of care and meets or exceeds Regional, Provincial, and National standards. Evaluates delivery of care, Resident outcomes, and resident and staff satisfaction. Ensures policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines are current, available and utilized to facilitate the delivery of appropriate safe care. Facilitates effective and efficient discharges and transfers of residents in collaboration with other members of the health care team. Familiar with and able to implement the Fire and Disaster Plan as well as policies and procedures related to security and Resident safety.
