Qualified candidates who have knowledge and/or experience working with a diverse workforce are strongly encouraged to apply for this senior leadership position. As the RED, you provide educational leadership for the region, focusing on a quality education leading to improved outcomes for students, enhanced community involvement, and efficient service delivery to ensure resources are directed to services to support student success and wellbeing. You play a pivotal role in the inclusive and student-centred P-12 public education system which promotes student success in achievement and well-being, diversity, equity, professionalism of staff, safe educational environments, excellence, and innovation. You have overall accountability for the efficient leadership and management of the Regional Centre office and the public schools in the region, including program delivery, support services, financial administration, systems administration, technological innovations, management and supervision of all regional employees and relations with government, partners, the public, and the media. As RED, you have strong educational leadership, financial, strategic planning, human resource management, and influencing skills. You provide support and guidance to a highly professional team and your collaborative management style and respect for the contribution of all staff inspires a high level of achievement.
