Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Payload & Ground Systems in Azusa, CA is seeking a 2nd shift custodial service attendant to join our team. This role is supported by our bargaining unit union organization. SUMMARY: Maintain labs, clean rooms and premises in clean and orderly condition in accordance with company contract and industry standards. WORK PERFORMED: Working at appropriate skill and certification level, wears attire designated to various classes of clean rooms utilizing specialized tools, solutions and wipes Includes work on ladders, scaffolds, cleaning parts, using tanks and solution, cleaning the cleaning equipment, etc. Works in areas where attention is requited to chemicals, electronic equipment, laser and environmental requirements.Various housecleaning operations such as sweeping, mopping and removing refuse from offices and rest rooms, cleans windows and dusts as necessary, disinfects, scrubs rest rooms and showers replenishes rest room sanitation items and other related supplies May be required to use a ladder, operate forklift and other vehicles.Performs incidental work as required, in completion of assigned tasks Must be able to follow exacting written and verbal instructions.Provides documentation and proper recording of Maintenance Department records including preventive maintenance. Observes company, OSHA and Safety regulations. QUALIFICATIONS: High School or equivalent. Normally one (1) year experience in janitorial cleaning. Requires the ability to perform physical work commensurate with above job description. Must possess a valid driver's license that meets the California Vehicle Code.Must be computer literate to the extent required to perform job functions and proper recording and documentation of maintenance records. Must be able to obtain necessary ESD training and clean room training certification as required to perform assigned tasks.Must be able to perform all essential job functions and environmental/physical considerations per Employee Requisition.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
