This is a PAID internship that is eligible for a permanent position. The Accounting Intern will be responsible in compiling, preparing and verifying data for use in maintaining accounting records as well as performing a wide range of administrative duties to support the accounting department. Responsibilities Compiles and sorts documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions. Assists in balancing account spreadsheets; matches and defines discrepancies between payments and amounts billed in system. Maintains accounting department files and records. Enters information into accounting data entry system. Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, typing, and mailing. Qualifications US Work Authorization required. High school diploma or GED. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
