Handsome, Mellow, Friendly El Macho Gato is a sweet, brown, tabby boy who has a folded left ear and tiger stripes. He often has his little tongue hanging out of his mouth, which is very adorable. He is friendly and likes scratches and pets. He likes being brushed and will let you scratch his belly. He is pretty quiet and only meows when he gets excited that food is coming his way. El Macho is mucho mellow. He is fine hanging by himself and can be independent, but he is very friendly and sweet when you approach him. He is low maintenance and happy to just relax. El Macho is a sweet little guy! Before coming to his foster home, he was very stressed in the shelter and was picked on by the other cats. He is very docile, so he didn't defend himself very well. His perfect home would be calm and quiet -- he seems like he would be fine with any other pets if they are docile like him. He is easy to take care of and just needs his medicine sprinkled onto his food. Come give this sweetheart a safe place to put up his paws! El Macho Gato has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. El Macho Gato can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.
