Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a Program Cost Control Analyst Level 2 or Principal Level 3to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Aurora, CO, and will be onsite. This position will follow our 9/80 schedule and will have every other Friday off. This position will interact with various operating unit, business area, and division staff to solve reporting program issues and meet reporting requirements. In addition, the Analyst will interface with program managers, functional management, control account managers (CAMs) and business managers to provide financial support and analysis. This position can be hired at a level 2 or a level 3. Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Adhere to policies and procedures. Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system. Perform analyses and prepare reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines. Assist with/prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and perform and/or assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis. Assist with/prepare and update ETC, Baselines, Basis of Estimates, and establish Performance Measurement reporting/customer reporting requirements. Ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government. Incorporate contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines. Subcontractor invoicing and funding analysis. Set up, prepare, and follow up with all required financial reports. Effectively communicate with leadership and customers regarding financial status, metrics, and deliverables. Participate in knowledge transfer and best practices sharing with peers. Assist in preparing for internal and external audits. Basic Qualifications for a Level 2: Bachelor's degree with 3+ years' of related experience that include financial or analytical experience - OR - Master's degree with 1+ year of related experience An additional 4+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel Current, active Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI upon hire Basic Qualifications for a Principal Level 3: Bachelor's degree with 6+ years' of related experience that include financial or analytical experience - OR - Master's degree with 4+ years' of related experience An additional 4+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel Current, active Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI upon hire Preferred Qualifications for both levels: Earned Value Management (EVM) experience Current, active TS/SCI Security Clearance Experience with SAP, MPM, wInsight, and/or Cobra Experience collaborating with technical functions or a project/program Experience in DoD setting with understanding of government Cost Accounting Standards, FAR, & DFARs Experience preparing and presenting financial analysis Experience with balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow Intermediate to advance knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, sumif, conditional formatting) Salary Range: $68,800 - $103,200 Salary Range 2: $84,600 - $127,000The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
