I'm young, so I have a lot of learning and growing to do but have been learning all my basic skills at Marvin Pierce Dog Teacher. I love quiet moments, gentle pets, and sweet words. I might not be the loudest or the most outgoing in the room, but I promise, I have a lot of love to give. Will you be my forever friend? Please follow the instructions on each pet profile.Adoption processDue to COVID-19, Newberg Animal Shelter is not open for walk-ins. Please view our available pets on our website, newberganimals.com.If a pet is listed as available at PetSmart, you can go directly to that PetSmart to adopt (call to verify availability first).If you are interested in a pet that is available in our shelter, you will need to submit an adoption application to be considered.We are receiving multiple applications on every pet. If we do not call you to do an adoption, please do not consider it a rejection. We simply have a lot of applications coming in and very limited staff.Adoption Applications do not place holds on pets, nor do we do pre-adoptions. Rather than doing first-come-first-serve adoptions, Newberg Animal Shelter considers all applications and chooses the home that is the best fit for that particular pet. We want the adoptions to be happy and successful for the family and the pets.
