Adopt Precious a Gray/Blue/Silver/Salt & Pepper Cane Corso / Mixed dog in Lake

Precious is exactly that... Precious!This gorgeous girl came from an unethical breeder who shut down and wanted to euthanize all their dogs. They told us that when she was a puppy, they mopped their floor and Precious ran around the corner, slipped, and fell on the wet tile floor. Because she fell so hard, her back leg popped out of place and they NEVER fixed it! She grew quickly with this injury and now requires surgery to fix it, which we have been working endlessly to fundraise for. (we tried networking with other rescues who could take on Precious and get her surgery done asap, but nobody wanted to help)While living with this leg injury most of her life, she doesn't have pain but cannot run or play very hard like she would love to (for now!). She loves training, loves going on walks, and above all else, she LOVES to snuggle her humans!! She is potty trained, crate trained, and still thinks she is a little puppy. She is between 1-2 years old so she's still in her teenager troublemaker era but tries so hard to please her people! She is quite the lap dog, even with her large size. She loves other dogs, but plays hard in short increments so we only have her in play groups with other large dogs at this time. She has not been cat tested and would do great with older kids because she is so large and rambunctious! If you're interested in adopting Precious, please reach out!
