UPDATE!!Sadly, our sweet Bingo was returned! He did wonderful in his adopted home but his adopters were older without a fence and they realized leash walking was just too much for them at their age! So now after lots of tears Bingo is now back with his foster mom! âBingo’s mom was a Labradoodle but his father is unknown. He is 1.5-2 years old and weighs 45 lbs. Bingo is a great boy. He’s pretty chill for his age and breed. He does well with other dogs. He can resource guard his food bowl so feeding separately works best if you have a pup that may bother him while eating. He does wonderful in the house and doesn’t mind a crate. He enjoys sunbathing outside and bonds hard with his person. He does well on a leash but can get excitable when other dogs are around. He also is great in the house and crate. He loves the outdoors and exploring, a fenced back yard or an active outdoors person would be wonderful. While in the adopters home… he enjoyed playing with their 7&9 year old grandkids. Bingo is utd, hw neg (tested below detectable levels) and neutered. Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals. All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies will be altered before adoption. All rescues and shelters practice pediatric spay and neuter. This is essential in our rescue efforts and it is a policy that we will stick by. All dogs over 8 weeks and 2 pounds will be altered before adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule on all healthy and adoptable dogs. We have researched and discussed in depth with multiple vets everything on pediatric spay and neuter and from a rescue stand point it must be done. Please do not ask for an extension on spay and neutering, it will NOT be granted on a healthy puppy! Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $125 is due at pick up.Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. We also have full-time jobs and Families. We will try to answer all questions and applications in a timely manner. Please be patient and bear with us . Do not contact any of the vet clinics we work with, as they are a vet clinic and can not answer questions on behalf of Wags and Whiskers.
