Sweet Petey was at a municipal shelter with injuries he probably got from being hit by a car and nearly lost his leg. Getting Petey out of the shelter and to a private met means that Petey never had to lose his leg and didn't even need surgery. A few weeks of splint and leash walks and crate rest means Petey gets to keep his leg and continue to grow into his best life. Petey is calm, sweet and loving, and is very treat motivated. He's doing basic training with our friend at Dances with Dogs and loving life as a foster 'til he finds his own family.
