This gorgeous ice-blue eyed boy is Mishka, a 2 yr old 60 lb Husky - Shepherd Mix whose name means "Little Bear. Mishka is a playful, affectionate dog who is good with other dogs and adults. Like a little bear, he does like to play, and he can be a bit driven in his play, so other dogs in your home will need to be playful too. Mishka is housetrained and crate trained and has been receiving additional training in his foster home. He is very smart and learns quickly. Mishka is currently learning not to jump up and not to play-mouth people, so we are not recommending young kids for him at this time. Mishka is very attention and affection seeking and will make an amazing best friend if you are active, preferably with Husky experience. He's the kind of pup that will never let you go to the bathroom alone! Mishka is great at coming when called - unusual for a Husky - and someone at some time taught him to come running for a quick whistle. He's not very vocal for a husky, but very typical otherwise - always busy, always up for an adventure, and a liiiitle bit pushy. And - he chases his tail (so cute)! Mishka spent the past year of his 2 yr old life living in an animal shelter, where he got lots of attention and care. Now in a foster home, he's learned more about manners and sharing, both of which he does well for his foster mom. We can't wait for him to score the greatest home of his life though, someone who will return his faithful devotion forever! Mishka's adoption fee is $275.
