Hi there, my name is Leo! I am a Shepherd mix puppy born around 6/3 and I am looking for my fur-ever home! Currently I weigh around 8 lbs. I was found left outside a shelter in Kentucky when I was only 5 weeks old. It was a very scary and confusing time for me and my 3 other siblings. Luckily we were taken in by the loving shelter staff and were rescued shortly thereafter by Starfish Animal Rescue and brought over to Illinois. That’s where we met our foster parents! The beginning of my life sure has been ruff but I now look forward to all the good life has to offer! I am a very energetic puppy and I love to play! Some of my favorite games to play are fetch, tug of war, and wrestling with my sister Lily. I love to eat and I am not a picky eater at all! I also love attention and enjoy getting pets and belly rubs. I love to cuddle and sleep on laps also! I also give out kisses to everyone I meet. One of my favorite things to do is play outside. The outdoors is so much fun! I love playing in the yard and rolling around in the grass, having zoomies, hiding under trees, and chewing on tree branches that I find. Everyone that meets me says that I am absolutely adorable, so I guess I must be quite the looker . I have lots of love and kisses to share and can’t wait to find a home to call my own. Leo is a wonderful puppy. He is so affectionate and full of energy! We can’t help but smile every time we see him. Leo would make a wonderful addition to any home and is sure to fill your home with laughter and love. Leo gets along well with others dogs and would enjoy having a friend to play with. Leo will do best in a home with kids 8 and older and a fully fenced in yard. The adoption fee of $500 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family.
