Introducing Roman, aka Romi, a 5 year old, purebred Cocker Spaniel who currently weighs 27 pounds. He is a very sweet, gentle boy that loves nothing more than to be near you. Romi is considered a “velcro dog” because he will follow you wherever you go. This sweet soul was surrendered by his owners because they wanted a different dog now, after having Roman for over three years. He was very confused initially but over the past several weeks he has settled into his foster home’s routine. Romi previously lived in a home where children were present and did well with them. He is very good with other dogs of varying sizes, especially a couple of the foster dogs in his foster home who entice him to play. Romi will rough-house a little bit with the other dog, but running and chasing as well as playing with toys together are fun for him. He also enjoys laying together on the dog bed chewing bones together. Romi is a gentle soul who startles easily so we are seeking a calm adoptive household with at least one other dog in the home with whom he can play and hang out with because he takes comfort in the presence of other dogs. Romi is fully housebroken and crate trained and does not soil in his crate when his foster mom is away at work. He does very well at night and enjoys sleeping on his dog bed in his foster mom’s bedroom. It is so easy to fall in love with this sweet boy.This dog has been examined by a licensed veterinarian, provided inoculations, tested for diseases, dewormed, neutered, and microchipped.
