This big guy is about 7 years old and 70 lbs. Don't let his age fool you as he still acts like a big puppy. He has got a big bark, but he's just looking for your love and attention.He wasn't allowed in the apartment his owner was in and came to us in hopes to find a home that will be better suited. He's strong and doesn't realize his size. A home with a fenced yard would be best, and no small children as he could easily knock them down (because he's so excited to see them). This good boy knows sit, paw and down but needs a firm hand for handling. He is very strong on a leash and would do best with someone equally as strong. He seems unfazed by our cats. With other dogs he can be obnoxious playing and would need a meet and greet. Xylo tested positive for a common tick borne disease, Anaplasmosis. As such, he will need to go home with an antibiotic treatment. Don't let this scare you away, the prognosis is very good and once treated should not impact his quality of life.
