Hi! My name is Big Poppa! I’m a large 5 year old handsome white boy with a natural monkey tail that is looking for my forever home! Not much is known about my history except that I was found as a stray in Fort Worth and was very thin but has since gained weight and healthy! I do have two lumps on me but those are soon to be checked out by the vet. I have a moderate energy level with a very goofy playful personality. I like to play with humans, but I also like to nap throughout the day. I enjoy a daily evening walk and sitting on the couch with my people. My favorite toys are soccer balls, tiny tennis balls, and stuffed animals. I have a very sweet and gentle soul and I do well outside of the crate when left alone. Although I am left alone to roam outside of the crate, I have known to counter surf or rummage through the trash incase I find something for myself. I am a smart boy and know how to sit, shake, lay down and roll over. I am also house trained and leash trained! Per the shelter I was at, I am good with cats but a proper introduction is best. My foster mom said I did well with a slow introduction to a female dog. My foster mom says I “am a great boy and your own personal shadow”.
