No out of state applicants, please. Want a dog that everyone admires and exclaims over? Bonnie is BEAUTIFUL. Those ears! That coat!That shimmy-walk! She’s the total package. Prepare to spend a small fortune on plush toys,though—she’s a shredder, and by that, I mean within minutes. She goes after the squeaker, tears it out,and runs around the house making noise until your ears bleed. But, she’s never chewed on shoes,furniture, cat toys, or anything else that doesn’t belong to her. This one is super food-motivated andtends to inhale her meals (hello, puzzle feeder).Bonnie needs long walks several times per day, or perhaps a yard for zoomie time. After that, though,she’s happy to nap, snoring away, by your side all day. She has mild separation anxiety but settlesquickly in her crate to sleep quietly all night and when you are gone from the house. If you want a dogthat follows you everywhere (no private bathroom time anymore), Bonnie is it—such a lapsnuggler/leaner/affection demander. We are working on loose leash walking in a neighborhood andcondo building with a thousand dogs. She is very interested in other animals, and seems fine with dogsher size or larger, but has exhibited a prey drive, so no small dogs, cats, squirrels or birds. She LOVESmen and likes women and ignores kids/babies/strollers. She’s happy to go to outdoor bars/cafes and isvery used to city noises.Bonnie is a lover and great city/apartment dog. She is very smart and trainable. With a bit of coachingand patience, she will be an awesome companion for city walks, bar-hopping (as long as she gets a pup-cup) and naps.
