Echo is a rescue dog from Colorado. He is 7 years old, 8 in November. He is very energetic and loves playing with other dogs. Due to my divorce, I moved from Colorado back to my home town here in California. I’ve had to go back to work and I no longer have the time Echo needs. He is no longer happy living with me. When left at home alone he becomes destructive. If put outside he digs out and tries to find me. I’m worried he will get hit by a car. I’m sad to be trying to rehome him but I want him to have a family who can meet all his needs. His ideal living situation would be in a household with other dogs where the people in the house work from home. He does ok with cats inside but will chase and try to catch outside. Echo’s previous owner was a male and I suspect he abused him so ever since I rescued him he has been afraid of men and is more comfortable around women.
