Bernardo is a very calm, gentle, sweet, shy and sensitive young dog. He gets along with dogs and cats. He has not shown any prey drive and takes treats gently. He needs a patient owner who is willing to give him time to decompress and come out of his shell. Bernardo has a cute under bite. Bernardo likes to be with his person but is also very quiet and happy to sleep when left alone. He takes a few minutes to warm up to new people but once he feels comfortable he enjoys being petted and snuggling with his person.
