This is a good example of the New World guitars from Kenny Hill. At Kenny's masterful directions, the guitar was built in China. The guitar has a solid spruce top with rosewood back and sides. The fretboard is rosewood. This model is reminiscent of Torres type of classical guitars. The nut is 50mm with a slight shorter scale length, I believe it is 640mm. The neck does have a truss rod and the neck is straight with no cracking at the neck joint. It has a new set of D'Addario Pro-Arte EJ43 light/normal tension strings. The soundboard does have its typical signs of use with a couple of slight scratches in the French polish finish. The Almeria series is profound in its sound and looks as most classical guitars of this type will cost a great deal more. With the purchase of the guitar, a hard case is included. Note the picture showing minuscule damage to the case itself, but the guitar was not in the case at the time.
