Adopt Glory a All Black Domestic Shorthair (short coat) cat in Dallas

Glory is a little pirate kitten. And no pirate is complete without their very own eyepatch! In Glory’s case, she has several girly kitten pirate eyepatches! Glory was rescued from the shelter on the day she was to be put to sleep. Her poor eye had ruptured and she needed a rescue right away! That’s when A Voice for All Paws stepped up and found someone to spring Glory from the shelter in the nick of time! She was whisked to the vet and an appointment was made to remove her eye, because it was unfortunately beyond saving. We do not know what happened to her eye. We just know it had to have been very painful for this little one.Glory has spent the last 2 months recuperating from her eye surgery, getting all her vaccinations and being spayed. Oh, she’s also spent that time being spoiled rotten. Her foster mom (me) has taught her to come when called (yes, she knows her name!). She gets along with dogs and other cats. In fact, Glory would do much better with another kitten or young cat to play with. If you don’t already have a Glory playmate, A Voice for All Paws can round one up for you! She has absconded with the resident dogs’ toys, which she will be more than happy to drop in your lap so you can play fetch with her. Or drop in front of the resident dogs just so they know their toys are fair game. (Did I mention she shares a home with 2 dogs?) She is also more than happy to double as a paperweight and has been known to pull up some interesting items by way of a computer keyboard!But most of all, little Glory is a loving, little purr machine. If she’s playing hide n seek from me, all I have to do is listen for her purr, which she hasn’t yet discovered gives away her location. She loves to be held and kissed on the mouth (you can blame me for that!) She will follow you everywhere, even into the bathroom! Feet under the covers are fair game, as are your shoelaces!
