Meet Duke! Retired hunting dog, he is a Terrier breed who roamed the fields squirrel and rabbit hunting with his Master in their younger days. Alas, Master departed this world and left our 12 year old Duke alone. Duke is about 15 lbs, still loves a good romp in the yard and a squirrel to chase up a tree. Loves to have his ears scratched, belly rub and a good cushion when he finds one. Duke does not climb on furniture. But will sit beside you if picked up. Caution, if he is not in the mood to be picked up, he will growl at you and snip. This translates to "Not now, I have a headache". Loves his ears scratched. Eats well. House broken. NOT a barker.
