Meet Buddy, the handsome senior with a zest for life & a gorgeous bushy tail! At nearly 11 years old, he has plenty of energy and a heart full of joy. This Poodle / Irish Terrier / Beagle mix weighs in at 39 pounds. What's our favorite thing about Buddy? Well, when he gets excited, he'll bark and break into a little dance! It's the cutest thing you'll ever see! Though he's crate trained, Buddy isn't a fan of being crated. He came to us house trained, but will, of course, need a refresher course in a new home. Can we share a little about Buddy's situation? The real thing is that Buddy has lived as an adored pet until his mommy developed memory/dementia issues which called for Buddy coming into rescue. His world came crashing down and he is longing to get settled in a loving home of his own. His dream home would be with a calm adult or couple who enjoy easy-going walks with time to enjoy companionship and the landscape. A fenced yard would be awesome, but he is leash trained. He does enjoy bird and squirrel-chasing expeditions in the yard. He's got some doggy companions now, but he wouldn't mind being the only pet. Cats seem to stress Buddy, so no cats, please. This sweet boy had a full dental when he came into rescue, so that's all covered. Buddy is adorable, sweet natured, longing for love and companionship.
