Gene Hill observed that: "Nobody can fully understand the meaning of love unless he’s owned a dog." This makes us think of Bonnie, who has so much love to give. Bonnie means beautiful and our Bonnie truly is! She is a happy-go-lucky, good natured and very sweet dog and we really enjoy spending time with her. Her stunning brindle coat is beautifully patterned and she has snow white markings on her chest. We love her distinctive ears which give her such a unique look. Bonnie is two years old and weighs 41 pounds, so she is a wonderful choice if you want to adopt a medium-sized dog. Bonnie is an enthusiastic companion on daily walks and absolutely loves being close by your side. She will go for as long as you want and would be a fine hiking or running buddy. Bonnie also has such fun playing in the fenced yard, where she bounds about in total joy and has such fun with the toys. She is such a delight to be around! Most of all, Bonnie enjoys just hanging out to enjoy the day with you! She loves to be petted and is quite the cuddle buddy! Bonnie gives the best doggy kisses, too! She is a sought after companion at the shelter. Bonnie had an outing with one of our volunteers and Jessica reports: "We went to Beaman Park where she sniffed every tree and dipped her paws in the creek. We went with my sister and her dog and Bonnie preferred to be the follower. Anytime she was in front she would always check back to make sure we were all still behind her. She met a few young kids and patiently let them pet her. Bonnie was very easily redirected when we encountered other dogs on the trail and got along well with my sister’s dog just fine. She demonstrated how well she can “sit” and appreciated the AC vents in the car on the ride home Bonnie got a pup-cup snow cone at Marrowbone brewery and all in all had a great time!
