Mateo (formerly known as Billy) is our newest addition to PeiPeople in Las Vegas. He was found as a stray and looks like he has spent far too many hours as an outside boy. He wasn't responding to the name given at the shelter, but got silly when Mateo was tried, so we are going with it! Maybe it was the tone of voice, maybe it sounds similar to his old name? This boy is truly a diamond in the rough. He recently had full entropion and was neutered, so now he is just resting up to show off how handsome he is! He enjoys car rides, but beware that he might want to jump up front to help you drive, so securing him in the back is ideal. He has been in boarding, the vet's office, and with multiple volunteers and everyone expresses what a great dog he is! Easy going and just all around sweet. He was non-reactive to dogs at the vet's office and we will update once he is healed and can start mingling with other dogs. So far he seems friendly and easy going.
